Gold Leaf Lettering
Gold Leaf Lettering is an option for memorials and monuments. The lettering is made from 24
carrot Gold Leaf, which is a thin gold leaf paper that is carefully brushed onto the engraved
lettering on the memorial. As you can see from the example, it makes the engraving stand out like
gold. Due to the 24 carrot gold leaf and the amount of time it takes to apply the gold leaf, the price
to have this option reflects those reasons. The Gold Leaf does not last forever, but we have found
that it lasts for at least 15 years depending on the weather in the area.
Another option would be a lithochrome point coloring which can be applied to the engraving to give
the engraving color. This process would need to be done when the monument is being made when
the rubber stencil is still attached to the monument.
